A fresh start after the crisis

Location: Pordenone.

Date: August 2019 – ongoing

Topic: company assessment, interviews with employees, auction to purchase the company, purchase of the company, fresh start, personnel training, meetings with management.

What I do: interpreter (consecutive/simultaneous) in various meeting prior and subsequent to the company purchase. (Italian< > English)

New management

Purchasing a company is not easy task. Working with the team of the English-speaking management is a great opportunity for all the parties involved. The interpreter has the delicate task to support the parties on various aspects of the production, set up and commissioning processes, bureaucracy issues and to take part in the auction.

An interpreter plays a key-role for the success of the negotiations and the future of the company and its personnel.

The most difficult challenges are the wide terminology range, the complexity of certain topics, the ability of managing various impromptu situations.

Long-term projects

Interpreters work with their clients for brief periods of times, there can be events that repeat over the years. It is also possible we are involved in long-term projects. This is one of those projects: my clients need the support of a professional interpreter over a more extended period of time in order for the project to be successful.
